As Wodify’s HR Generalist, you’ll play a critical role in owning and driving all the processes and programs  behind our talent and recruitment initiatives. You will join the Head of People as a key contributor to talent and recruiting projects and will have the opportunity to learn the skills required to be a successful HR Business Partner. As Wodify is a fast-paced startup in growth mode, you will not only have the opportunity to own all the day-to-day HR operations, but you will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic talent initiatives. 

A Day in the Life of an HR Generalist at Wodify. With the support and guidance of the Head of People, the ideal candidate will:

  • Own the administration and execution of all HR policies and procedures 
  • Participate in the development of all talent programs (learning & development, employee engagement, culture, performance management,  performance improvement, etc.)
  • Recommend and execute enhancements to Wodify’s current onboarding program to meet changing business and candidate needs
  • Own employee relations issues as they arise
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering all data into an HRIS and auditing for accuracy and compliance
  • Own the strategic relationships with Drexel University and Venture for America
  • Serve as an effective and dedicated business partner to employees and leadership
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook and organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies
  • Partner with the Head of People on creation of engaging intranet content
  • Help set HR metrics 
  • From time to time, we may need the HR Generalist to step into full-cycle recruitment and recruitment coordination 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or a related field
  • At least 4 - 5 years of HR Specialist/Generalist experience
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and a natural intellectual curiosity
  • Knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
