Associate Product Manager

We’re looking for a customer-centric Associate Product Manager who has a track record of rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done.  As an individual contributor you’ll collaborate closely with product design and engineering to lead the re-design of our core product so that it’s easier for gym owners to use.  This is an associate role and a great opportunity for someone with few years of product management experience to grow their product management skills while being part of a smart, growing team that’s making a big impact.

A Day in the Life:

  • Collect and organize product feedback from user research, user groups, customer support, sales, marketing, and system usage data provided by development
  • Pull and analyze product usage data to better understand our customers and their needs
  • Setup and manage ongoing product feedback groups of both gym owners and athletes 
  • Organize and prioritize bugs, customer needs, and pain points
  • Align the organization around what problems are most important to solve
  • Work with design to explore and iterate on potential solutions
  • Align org around new designs and break them in to digestible tickets for engineering 
  • Support engineering as they build the new designs, answering questions and making sure new functionality works as intended
  • Rollout new features with customer-centric transition plan, help documentation, and marketing / customer success support

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 1-3 years of product management experience
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Data-driven with the ability to extract meaningful insights to make smart product decisions
  • Strong problem solving skills, practical tendencies, and an ability to find process efficiencies
  • Collaborative style, growth mindset, and preference to lead with influence
  • Attention to detail and a focus on ease-of-use and product excellence 
  • Ability to partner with engineers and designers to conceptualize, ship, and iterate on products
  • Experience working with mobile and desktop web applications
  • Interest or experience in the fitness space a plus

Education & Training:

  • BA/BS in a business, technical, quantitative or design field
