As the HR & Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in driving the processes behind our talent and recruitment initiatives. You will join the Head of People as a key contributor to talent and recruiting projects and will have the opportunity to learn the skills required to be a successful HR Business Partner. As Wodify is a fast-paced startup in growth mode, you will not only have the opportunity to own all the day-to-day  HR & Recruiting operations, but you will get the chance to help build and evolve our talent programs. 

A Day in the Life (HR Coordination). With the support and guidance of the Head of People, the ideal candidate will:

  • Own the administration and execution of all HR policies and procedures 
  • Be responsible for running payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Participate in the development of all talent programs (learning & development, employee engagement, culture, performance management, etc.)
  • Recommend and execute enhancements to Wodify’s current onboarding program to meet changing business and candidate needs
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering all data into an HRIS and auditing for accuracy and compliance
  • Serve as an effective and dedicated business partner to employees and leadership
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook and organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies
  • Partner with the Head of People on creation of engaging intranet content
  • Help set HR metrics 

A Day in the Life (Recruitment Coordination). With the support and guidance of the Head of People and Recruiter, the ideal candidate will:

  • Own all aspects of recruiting coordination including, but not limited to: scheduling phone screens, interviews, and debriefs, managing candidate assignments and respective communication, and phone screening)
  • In partnership with the Recruiter, be  responsible for creating a candidate experience survey
  • Own the candidate experience, measure success, and iterate as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or a related field
  • 1 - 3 years of prior HR experience
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and a natural intellectual curiosity
  • Knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
